How To Take Body Measurements: Size Guide

The following guide talks you through how to take your main body measurements to buy the perfect garment for your body, and your style! Let's get into it.

Chest - Measure around the widest part of your chest.

Waist - Measure at the narrowest part of the waist.

Hip - Measure around the hips at the widest part; approximately 7-8 inches down from the narrowest part of the waist.

Sleeve length - With a slight, natural bend in the elbow, measure from the top of the shoulder to the wrist bone.

Inseam - Measure from the top of the inner thigh to the bottom heel of your foot.

Rise - This measurement is measured from the front center waist of the pant to the crotch seam. This measurement indicates how high or low a garment will sit on the hip/waist.

Length - This measurement is measured from the bottom hem of a garment to the top-most part. In regards to pants, this will be from the top waist to the bottom hem. In regards to dresses this will be from the center back to the bottom hem.
