Membrane Skirt in Black by Issey Miyake

This narrow cloth skirt is characterized by its silhouette that hugs the body, adhering like a second skin when worn. The combination of Washi paper and cotton gives the fabric a softer, more fitted feel against the skin. The fabric was carefully woven after trying numerous prototypes to achieve aspects such as the texture and silhouette. This column skirt fits at the hip and flows down along the silhouette.
