ZILLA
Sylvia Pichler’s family of blacksmiths and architectures engendered her with an affinity for innovative and experimental materials. Each collection from Zilla, founded in 2005, begins with repurposing textiles and affording them new life with altered surfaces and textures. Using Pichler’s architectural sensibilities, Italian leather, foil, and delicate satin are rendered indiscernible and transformed into unique materials molded into minimalist designs for everyday use.
