Tranquility Earrings in Silver by Issey Miyake
Issey Miyake says of this collection "[it is] a series of accessories reminiscent of a waterfall with clear tranquility." The tassels are made from a lustrous silver rayon thread, thread that is traditionally used for kimonos and obi belts. Aluminum pipes were crushed around the threads to create an intriguing upper form. These earrings are wearable sculptures, and their length draws a complimentary line down the jaw and neck.
