Sonia Sweater in Rich Eucalyptus Cotton by Handspun Hope
This feminine classic is the perfect complement to silky skirts or well-tailored trousers.
Each piece from Handspun Hope is a nearly 8 month process. For all the Ethiopian cotton pieces, women in Ethiopia hand spin cotton yarn, which is then shipped to Rwanda and the women of True Vineyard Ministries, where it is hand dyed using local vegetation. Avocado pits, onion skins and Eucalyptus bark are a few of the sources used to to create 100% organic dye baths. When you look at our color palette, you truly are looking at the colors of Rwanda.
The yarn is then given to the knitters, who take pride in their creations. Each piece is unique in execution and appearance, ensuring no two Handspun Hope items are exactly alike.
