The Collective Fashion Show has new dates — here's why!

Posted by Sarah Evans on

The Collective Fashion Show has new dates and will now occur OCTOBER 7 — OCTOBER 10 of 2021! This change follows the cancer diagnoses of Designer, Mentor, and Executive Producer, Amy Bond. The same A-list group of designers from Project Runway, Making the Cut, and Next in Fashion will get together this October to put on an exciting fashion week in Cincinnati!

For Amy, a foundational drive for The Collective is the community and mentorship it brings to the designers and partners involved. Amy will be taking the time between now and the show to heal and rest, so she can bring her best self to the event for the viewers, the designers, and the show as a whole.

One of the founding goals of The Collective is to uplift and provide a diverse community for viewers and designers alike within the fashion world; a concept that speaks to Idlewild's mission. No matter how you slice it, style and fashion empower us. The way we dress and the way we present ourselves impacts the way we feel. Jointly, Idlewild and The Collective aim to empower everyone, and their bodies, through fashion and styling.

The Collective is not a competition show. It's about creativity, collaboration, and diversity. This event brings designers to the people, breaking down the barriers that usually stand between fans and their favorite Reality TV contestants. The Collective is about reengaging with the fans of the designers in person, after a year of isolation. More than anything, The Collective is bringing its own version of Fashion Week to Cincinnati this October, and we hope to see you there — either in person or virtually!
